YOUR ART CLASS ENJOYS A STARRY NIGHT

There are billions of stars in the universe. Constellations are made of stars in certain patterns. It is beautiful to look up at the heavens on a clear night and see the star patterns. Astronomers, who study the stars, have come up with names for the star patterns. The symbolic star shape that we are familiar with is not what a star really looks like. There is a simple four pointed star, a five pointed typical star shape, a six pointed star called the Star of David that was adopted as the official Jewish symbol in 1897, an eight pointed star, and a ten pointed star. Your Art Class can create your own starry night.
