YOUR ART CLASS VISITS PARIS
 
The Eiffel Tower in Paris, France was designed by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 Exposition Universelle to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the French Revolution. It was constructed of strong "puddle iron" which is painted by hand every seven years to protect it. The Eiffel tower has since been illuminated with lights that light up the sky at night. Artists, musicians, poets, writers, photographers, etc. have been inspired by this lofty structure. Your Art Class may be inspired by the iconic structure of Paris.
