Your Art Class is Wise

“The wise old owl sat in an oak,

The more he saw the less he spoke,

The less he spoke the more he heard,

Why aren't we like that wise old bird?”

This old British rhyme established the owl as wise.  Prior to that, in ancient Greek mythology, the goddess Athena was wise and had an owl.  Besides being wise the owl is a bird of prey, lives alone, and is most active at night.  Many groups, clubs, and schools have taken the owl as a mascot. Are you as wise as the owl?
