Your Art Class Has a Jack O' Lantern
 
Apparently pumpkins and other vegetables were first carved on Halloween in the nineteenth century in Ireland and Scotland. A candle was added and Jack O’ Lantern came into being a Halloween tradition. Some people carve scary faces, some carve happy faces, and then some carve scenes that are not faces at all. Find a pumpkin in a pumpkin patch and turn your pumpkin into a face to be a Jack or a Jill O’ Lantern.
