Your Art Class Gets Corny
 
Corn is a crop that is grown in fields and planted in rows. Some farmers create a maze in their cornfields and they are really amazing and fun to go through. Iowa is the state that grows the most corn. Some people make things with dried corn husks. Dried corn kernels are fun for popping popcorn. When something is described as corny it generally means that it is overly sentimental. It came to mean that when more sophisticated people joked that something folksy or sentimental was more suited for the corn catalogue folks, and then that became corny. Your Art Class can get as corny as you like.
