Your Art Class is Bambooed

What grass has stems that are jointed with long narrow, pointed leaves? The answer is bamboo. It is a grass. Perhaps a super grass gone wild, but never the less it is a grass. Bamboo grows all over the world. Its shoots and leaves are the favorite food of pandas and monkeys. The roots of bamboo spread quickly and prevent erosion. The woody stems are used for many types of building materials from flooring to roofing. Bamboo is even used to make paper and clothing. Your Art Class can make your bamboo whatever way you want.
