Your Art Class sees an Arch

The arch is a simple yet complex architectural design. It is simple because it involves simple curves. It is complex because the arch must incorporate structural support. Arch windows give a unique style to a structure. Often classified as "Gothic", the arch window has been used by many civilizations and cultures. When the windows became part of church architecture and stained glass was added they became more popular. Ecclesiastical architecture used the stain glass because it brought beauty and light into the church. The stained glass arches also prevented anyone from peeking in or out of the windows. The windows helped to keep the congregation focused. Will your arch be more rounded or have a peak?
